BK’S KORNER . . .
I hope you attended Sunday night’s musical “Messiah, Heaven’s Glory.” If you did then I feel certain that you were blessed.
I hope you stayed for “A Taste of Christmas” afterwards. If you did then you had some delicious treats.
I hope that you will give to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering so that we can support missionaries who are serving in difficult times and places around the world.
I hope that you will plan to attend at least one of our special Christmas services coming on Christmas week. First on Christmas Eve Dec 24 at 5:30 pm we will have a Lord’s Supper and Candlelight service. This will be a time to worship our Savior whose birth we are celebrating. We will also have a gathering on Christmas morning, Dec 25 at 8 am. This will be a very informal and short “Family Gathering.” This will just ensure that on His day we really do remember and honor Him.
I hope that Christ shines a light into your holiday season so that no matter your circumstances you can find some joy and a reason to rejoice in Him.
I hope to see you this coming Sunday Morning as we celebrate the Gift that God has given to us in His Son.
I hope that you are ready to move forward this coming year as we seek to serve our Lord by reaching out to our community in love.
There’s a lot of “hoping” going on in this article. That’s really what the birth of Christ is about. We have hope. Hope in dark times. Hope in uncertain times. Hope when we feel hopeless. Hope for a heaven that far exceeds the struggles of this life. Because He lives we have hope!!
I hope that your hope is “… built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.”
God Bless You One and all
