BK's Korner, 12/22/2020
I cannot thank you all enough for your generosity to the homeless. My friend Bert, who picked up the items was blown away. Despite the rain last Saturday they still had the event. He said it was great. There were a lot of people there and all of the gifts we so appreciated. The gospel was shared and this forgotten segment of our community had love shared with them thanks in part to you. Again thank you. I will try to get some pictures of the event and we can show them on the screen before the service.
It is time to begin engaging again with the body of Christ. Most Sunday School classes have begun again. The others will likely be starting again in January. However we do have a spot for you so please come if you are so inclined. We have begun Wednesday night activities again. We are not having Wednesday night this week as we will have our Christmas Eve service on Thursday. We are going to not have Sunday night activities for a while still. We will see.
I also want to thank the Church for thinking of your Church Staff this week with the Christmas gift. It is really my pleasure to serve you. I am very happy here in this Church family. You all are a blessing in my life.
I know that some of you find the Christmas Season a little difficult as you have lost loved ones along the way. Please know that I will be praying for you this week.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a truly Happy New Year. We will approach 2021 as truly a new year. We will just begin again. Keep pressing forward,
“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith….” Hebrews 12:2a.
Hope to see you all this week at any or all of our Christmas gatherings. God Bless you all. That Baby Changes Everything!
