WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH JESUS

WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH JESUS . . .
Our Easter musical, A Picture of Calvary was presented this past Sunday and, as always, God blessed it.  We went into this endeavor with every faith that God would and as always, He took the work we put in and enhanced it for His glory.

The message of this musical made me look at myself once again and examine my love and worship of the Father.

Do I serve Him with my life?  We come together on Sunday morning and worship Him through songs and listen to the Word of God poured out to us.

Everything we do each day, whether it’s our work or just when we are out and about shopping or visiting, we are to strive to have him at the forefront of our minds.  We need to seize each opportunity to love people enough that we seek to find out where they stand with Jesus.

I had a Pastor once that shared when he would be in an elevator and there were others on there, he would ask them do you know where you will go when you die.  Will it be up or down?  What a way to start a conversation.
Do I ever doubt Him?  I’m sorry to say, yes I do.  I look around and I don’t understand a lot of what God allows to happen.  We see our families and friends hurting in so many ways.  We may think our problems are the worse.  Sometimes when I look at mine, I want someone to tell me that they know someone else who has these specific issues.  I have even asked that question.  Doubt and fear have overtaken me many times.

Philippians 4: 6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
This Scripture has been proven in my heart and mind. I have laid awake many times, and this Scripture has comforted me.  I have felt my breathing slow down and my mind stop racing. It has taken me a very long time to get to the point where my faith, which is a gift from God, has allowed me to believe this Scripture and allow it to work physically and emotionally in my body and mind.

I want to please the Lord.  I want everything I do to be for His glory.  Help me Lord to hear your voice and follow your lead.
For His Glory,   Debbie
