A few weeks back, BK called us “Living Stones” and this week he called us “Flashlights.” Well, that’s what I thought he called us. Did anyone else hear that? Could be it was just me since I have a great fascination with flashlights. I love them! If someone shows me their new flashlight, I try to find out where they got it. Walmart, $Tree, Amazon, Harbor Freight . . . You get the picture?

According to Ai, “a flashlight is primarily a portable handheld electric lamp powered by batteries, used for illumination.” Like the flashlight, we are to be a light for those around us to illuminate their way. Unlike the flashlight that depends on a battery or an electric charging source, our source is Christ. We are a reflection of Him.
