BK’S KORNER
What if I told you spring was right around the corner? You know it will be here before you know it. Here in Southeast Texas we don’t get much of a winter.  By the end of February it will be over. Spring will have sprung.

Spring just sort of signals a new beginning.  A return to life.  The trees will begin to bloom, the grass will start to grow, gardens will be planted, the fish will spawn, the wild flowers will make their annual appearance and we will begin working on those outdoor projects.  It just seems like everything comes back to life.

I am anticipating that very thing to happen in the life of our church.  I believe God has blessings in store for us beginning this spring.  I am looking forward to what is going to happen.  I’m looking forward to fruit as big as a car! Haha.  If you don’t know what I’m talking about, well, I guess you just missed it. That’s going to be one of the dangers of missing church …. You might miss something from the Lord. Stay closely connected to the Lord and our Church.  Let’s watch and see what God is up to.  We might even find that He uses us in some way. Wouldn’t that be cool?

Please pray for this church’s ministry to our community.  Pray that God would exalt His church. That the community would flow to it.  That they would come with a hunger for His word and a desire to do His will. Pray that the Word of God would go out from here.  Pray for all of our teachers that God would put His word into them so that they could then share it with others. Let’s ask Him.  Remember …. We have not because we ask not!

Reminder that our Sunday evening Experiencing God bible study will begin Sunday at 5:30 pm. Hope you will attend.

We will have a called business conference for the purpose of voting for Cody Hamilton as our Minister to Youth on Sunday January 30 immediately following the morning worship service. Join us for breakfast that morning at 8:30 for your chance to meet Cody and get to know him. Pray for him above all else.

I love you all and this church so much.  I cannot tell you how grateful I am that God brought us together.  Now let us finish what we are starting.

Blessings
